Art is the path to our subconscious, our feelings, experiences, and inner strengths. Every painting is a window into another world, from which one can take something precious for oneself. I firmly believe in the immense power of art.In my work, I primarily seek the deep connection between humans and nature — that original, almost forgotten unity that links us to the living world around us. Through years of inner work and creative exploration, I have realized that art is a natural way to make this connection feelable and visible once again.In my paintings, my knowledge, the subconscious, lucid dreaming, meditation, and above all the intense observation and experience of nature intertwine into a unified whole. Nature is not merely a backdrop here — it is a living dialogue partner, a source of strength, and a mirror of our inner landscapes.I am convinced that consciously rediscovering and feeling this bond between humans and nature — something that art can enable — could profoundly transform our society. It can bring more peace, genuine understanding, and harmony.

 

Oleksii Gnievyshev is a highly professional artist and master of realistic painting. He was born in 1991 in Ukraine. He successfully graduated from the Kyiv Academy of Arts and studied for five years under the private tutelage of teacher Volodymyr Bahalika. Since 2014, he has lived and worked in Brühl, Germany. His works are held in private collections and museums around the world.
